What is baby yoga?
Baby yoga is uses gentle stretches and movements for you to do with your baby. It incorporates over clothes massage, breathing techniques, stretching and movements for your baby, songs, rhymes
and actions and sensory play.
Many of the movements have been around for centuries and have their roots in traditional Indian culture and can often be seen in traditional infant massage text.

Our aim
To provide practitioners with the knowledge and teaching ability to safely and effectively deliver baby yoga sessions and courses in a variety of settings to various individuals and groups.
Once you have qualified as a baby yoga instructor you will be able to your baby yoga sessions with groups of parents and their babies.

Who can train?
You'll need to have qualifications or experience in one of the following but not limited to:
- Baby massage (instructors)*
- Anatomy and physiology (qualified practitioners such as massage therapists, body workers, holistic therapists)
- Yoga (teachers)*
- Healthcare (nurses, health visitors and midwives)
- Qualified exercise instructors and personal trainers*
- Qualified dance teachers*
- Qualified early years and childcare practitioners (Level 3)
* training must have included practical assessments.

Meet the instructor
Julie Cleasby
Julie is a registered paediatric nurse, specialising in child health and development, a registered health visitor and Early Years first aider. She is an experienced infant massage, baby yoga and toddler yoga instructor and qualified trainer. She has extensive experience in writing and delivering courses in both the public (NHS) and private sectors. She is also a qualified clinical hypnotherapist, paediatric hypnotherapist EFT and NLP practitioner, life coach and hypnobirthing educator.
Julie has worked with women and their families for over 26 years. She has a wealth of experience with women in the antenatal and postnatal periods and a variety of teaching experience and expertise in child health issues and infant and child development .
