What will I learn?
Once qualified, you’ll be able to offer mindfulness sessions in a variety of settings — as a stand-alone course for parents and preschoolers, within nurseries and Early Years environments, as part of your existing classes, or as simple, effective activities in primary schools and home education groups.
Why teach mindfulness to children?
You’ll learn how to support children with emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and nurture calm through simple meditation techniques, breathing exercises, and sensory-based activities.
Whether you're a teacher, therapist, or parent, this training empowers you to help children build resilience, focus, and inner peace — skills they’ll carry for life. Become a certified Mindfulness for Children Instructor and start creating calmer, more connected spaces for the children you support.

Julie Cleasby
Hi, I’m Julie — a paediatric nurse, health visitor, and mum of twins with over 26 years' experience supporting children and families.
My journey into mindfulness began over two decades ago, not just as a practitioner, but as a parent navigating the ups and downs of life with neurodiverse children. I’ve seen first-hand how simple mindfulness techniques can help children feel calmer, more connected, and confident in themselves — and I’m passionate about sharing that with others.
Alongside my nursing and health visitor background, I’m a qualified mindfulness practitioner, clinical hypnotherapist, forest bathing instructor, baby massage and yoga trainer, and paediatric hypnotherapist. Over the years, I’ve taught thousands of parents and professionals, written and delivered training across the NHS and private sector, and continued to learn, adapt, and evolve what I teach based on real-world experience.
This course brings together everything I’ve learned — professionally and personally — to give you a practical, compassionate approach to teaching mindfulness to children.
